There was also the one when Gerrard nearly joined chelsea only to be visited by someone threatening to blow his knee caps away.

My mate gotta 20 note off a very pissed as a fart Barnsey.

Plus, not quite related to LFC but my Grandad claimed he was once mates with the great Dixie Dean. Can't verify put he used to always go on about him.

Someone last year told me that Xabi and Kelly Dalglish were getting it on and she was pregnant by him. It was bull**** but imagine how that lad could play football if it were true (and the kid was a boy)

my sister many years ago was bringing her new boyfriend home for sunday dinner, he was a manc reserve player, no idea who, his sister was courting or married to a certain Brian Robson, newly bought manc superstar, who was invited too.

When my dad found out who it was on the sunday morning, he threatened to **** off and ruin the day, no way will I have a manc player in my house he declared.

My sister amd mum went to a restaurent in Knutsford instead, my dad went to the pub on his own. The manc chucked my sister a week later thank fcuk

Ron Yeats and Ian Callaghan both stayed at our house in Kenny, my brother and I had to sleep at our nans on the couch.

My first dentist in Dinas Lane once did an emergency filling on Kevin Keegan, and I'm sure there was a 1970's LFC link to the legendary barbers 'Mugs' on Rimmer Avenue.

I think he was called Dave cause they already had aTrigger in Rob Jones. Dave obviously referring to what Trig called Rodney in the show, for all those non-Only Fool's and Horse's fans in the house.
I like to lurk, if that's ok with you
