We don't need to spend 100m this summer, so 35m for Eto'o is OTT. If that is the price Barca want then forget it.

I mean not necessarily spend £35m on Eto'o specifically, but would spend that amount on a target. I think Man U would spend it for Eto'o (although probably not this summer given the money they've spent), I doubt Chelsea would spend it on Eto'o but they would be willing to pay £35m for a player they felt they needed. We wouldn't pay half that for anyone, and that's why we're feeding for scraps.

IMO 'IF' it turns out that we can actually afford Eto'o then we should fork out the asking price and show some real intent but if not then the likes of Milito, Torres, Not too sure about Forlan TBH, etc will do for me cos I trust Rafa's decisions
