Are these goals we're conceding a worry?

I see what you'e saying mums, and I agree that once everyone settles we'll see a difference with some clean sheets - starting Saturday hopefully!

I just wanted to see what everyone thought of the fact that we haven't kept a clean sheet so far in our league game and two CL games (plus the Shield). The majority have put it down to new faces needing time to settle into the team and injuries we've suffered.

I was also hoping that as I had started this thread that we'd then go on a good run of games keeping clean sheets to throw my thoguhts out of the window! I'm still hopeful that that will happen.

Sometimes you have to hold your hand up and say it was just a good goal. The Sheff Utd goal was an excellent ball into the box which negated the goalkeeper and gave the advantage to the onrushing forward. Even if Aurelio would have ran with Hulse , the Sheff Utd player would have had the advantage because he would be heading in the direction that his momentum was taking him.

I don't think we will keep as many clean sheets as we did last season BUT having said that I believe we will score more goals than last season.
I'll be happy with 70 odd goals scored in the prem while letting in 35-40.

I'd have thought if Momo was still on the pitch last night the Haifa lad would never have had a clean run through the middle.
