Dont mind as long as its not a newly promoted team...esp sunderland, with keane in charge.
Just look at the face: it's vacant, with a hint of sadness. Like a drunk who's lost a bet.

i think we are a confidence team, especially early days...id like city, reading, wigan, boro or fulham at home, 2 home games just to settle us in would be great thanks.

Anyone got any of the dodgy rumoured first day fixture lists which always appear in the days leading up to the official release?

United at home last game of the season would be lovely.

Come on somebody - who will be the first to post a "leaked" fixture list. Which will invariably be wrong . Happens every year............

Any home game. We can beat anyone at home. If the first two games we're at home even better.

All teams are rusty at the start of the season so the first few games are a great leveller. Remember Sheff Utd last year

I'd hate to get drawn against a minnow and fluff it by being rusty. I won't be expecting anything from Old Toilet anyway, so lets get it out of the way early on.

                              Agree with this one.

Bradford, Watford, and Sheffiield utd will prove we are not at our best at the start of the season in years gone by.

Pundits and armchairs will want us to play the other three when it matters later on in the season.

Stamford bridge / Old Trafford away for me.

If you are at home first weekend, then you usually have an away game midweek followed by another away game on the Saturday following., so IMO its better to be away first weekend as you then have 2 home games.

Unfortunately our midweek game at the start of the season is usually ****ed by having to play a CL qualifier that week
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"
