SCUM away!
Play them when they are rusty and get it out the way.
All teams are rusty at the start of the season so the first few games are a great leveller. Remember Sheff Utd last year
I'd hate to get drawn against a minnow and fluff it by being rusty. I won't be expecting anything from Old Toilet anyway, so lets get it out of the way early on.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

And it being away is even worse, at Anfield maybe but still i'd rather we get some easy ones at first to get some confidence on board as early as possible.

I'd rather get beat by SCUM in the first game than draw at home against someone like Derby.Originally posted by yukpo View PostUnited looked pretty rusty at the start of last season eh?

Basically I want to avoid us throwing points away because we're rusty.Originally posted by Gordon Brown
