Ever since the CL final the tabloids have been having a go at us in every way they can from unrest to no funds, benitez not happy, the new owners are at loggerheads and we are skint.

I think its all trash talk, when has benitez ever come out in open and say to the press that i want this player or we are after this player. I honestly believe that we are in for a major surprise as in who we will get and then i would like to know what the tabloids would have to write about our transfers.

If Benitez wanted to leave then why on earth did he get Reina/Alonso get thier contracts signed on long term deals.

I know Rafa is a great coach but for fear of being shouted down, consider this;

If it was a player spitting his dummy out when he cant have what he wants we'd all be saying he should go because no player is bigger than the club. IMHO no-one is bigger than the club and if Rafa is making these threats on a regular basis he might just find that the same scenarion would apply, not that I believe anything the TF comes out with.
