I know Rafa is a great coach but for fear of being shouted down, consider this;

If it was a player spitting his dummy out when he cant have what he wants we'd all be saying he should go because no player is bigger than the club. IMHO no-one is bigger than the club and if Rafa is making these threats on a regular basis he might just find that the same scenarion would apply, not that I believe anything the TF comes out with.

how could the same apply? rafa is the manager and need money to improve the squad, not to buy a bigger house. if we are not providing hm with funds to buy players when they have been promised then rafa would have a viable reason to leave the club as that shows either a lack of ambition or just that were totally skint.

on the other hand though i dont believe any of this rafa leaving bolloxs, however i have my suspisions that not everything is right in the boardroom.

damn right! i wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the negativity was coming from the mancs or chavs camp posing as liverpool sources, trying to wind everyone up. at no point would the owners, parry or rafa actually announce how much we were going to spend or even on whom. all the work would be conducted behind closed doors to keep the likes of chelsea from jumping in and pinching the players from us.

i'm not worried in the least and unless it's on the official site, wouldn't bother my arse reading anything relating to summer signings.

whether we spend 1M or 20M on a player, there's still no guarantee they're going to be a success so i don't understand why everyone's so hell bent on laying out obscene amounts of money. i'd rather get the right players than the most expensive.
