Agree with Tom on the lovers tiff between G & T. While I'm not normally negative I think it will effect our transfer budget this summer. Then they start to lose face with Rafa and the fans.... integrity at this early stage of the marriage is of paramount importance. They will only get once shot at n all.

yup that's what jumped out at me as well, if stage 2 is buying players, I'd imagine stage 3 is the stadium and looking beyond that it's be the commercial activities of the club. They did move pretty quick in sorting out the new contracts. I cant help but think if we had won the CL, the Ynaks would be seen in a somewhat different light.

Personally i'm going to wait till the end of next summers windows to fully judge what they have done with the club. There is more to running a club than signing cheques for players and that will take time for them to do and it takes time to see the results of any new business ideas/marketing initiatives.

So you will just have to excuse me if i don't form a lynch mob and go after the new owners or slit my wrists.

To be fair to the new owners they had to talk a lot at first to try and ingratiate themselves to the supporters.

Then they went fairly quiet but now every internet forum is full of negativity saying that we have no money , the owners are fighting amonst themselves and Rafa is on his way then it seems perfect sense to me that they would try and come out with a reassuring piece in a broadsheet rather than a tabloid which would try and frame the interview towards it's own agenda.
