Frequency is unimportant, all we want is the right message.
True, but if they didnt speak, would that send out a better message?
It seems to me at the minute they cant really do right for wrong. They come out in the press and try to reassure us, yet they get slammed for talking to much, yet I know that if they had said **** all they would be slammed for that very reason.
Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

True, it's a no win. Hicks however gave a specific timeline for some signings. That was very niave on his part. As long as they stick to the "We'll support Rafa" message. I'm prepared to give them the time to do it right.
After reading Gillett in the Echo tonight, I am reassured. He's basically said, ground sorted, securing our players is sorted so now we'll sort out the signings. Sounds good enough to me. Mainly because I dont give a **** about the ins and outs of his, Hicks, Parrys, Rafas and Mary the tea womans relationship so longs as it all comes together on the pitch.

That implies we couldn't start buying players until we'd re-signed our best best on long contracts.
whats up with us, can't we sign new players at the same time as we are re-signing our current ones on long term contracts. Or is this just more American bull **** to justify the chronic lack of t/fer action.
I know which I think.
Maybe it's because Rafa wanted to know who is staying. If Alonso for example had refused to sign a new deal then Rafa would have to change his targets and add a replacement for Alonso to the list and no one knows how much he would cost.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
