David Silva to sign a new deal with Valencia

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It says that David Silva and Baraja will sign new deals 13.00 CET. It doesn't say how many years the new deals will be.

That is when his current deal expires.

So that's one of your predictions going out of the window (as regards to a supposed £ 11 M deal) then AFII ?

Yes, looks like it's only Mancini left if that rumour is true.

I can't see us signing Malouda for £17m and Lyon won't sell him for less than that so it's looks like Kewell, Leto and Riise(if we don't sell him) on the left.

There is no way we would get David Silva for £11m AFII!

he is one of the hottest properties in Spain. £15m minimum

We won't get him at all now. Valencia will put a very high buyout clause in the contract.

We should try and sign Sneijder instead. He can play right, left or attacking midfielder.

There are plenty of fish left in the sea. For example Simao. There are many very good players about. None of them - even including the dream targets - seems completely ideal for us to me. Therefore I'm more interested to see who Rafa thinks we need and not that worried about any of the so called targets we may or may not miss out on. I'm pretty sure we will get an improvement in the team.

I think Simao is the 11m. player (if it´s true) but I actually think Malouda would have been ideal for us and our system. Can defend, works hard, bit of pace, cross and shot, I think fits very well into Rafa´s philosophy and gives the team good balance.
