Hmm. An asset we can't seem to get any money for. A bit of a contradiction, no?

Cisse might score, but he'd also waste loads, everyone else in the team would probably score less, and we'd win fewer games.

so the question is...what is rafa's problem?

Rafa likes players that can control the ball, not just run fast and blast.
that is why Cisse does not feature in our plans other than to try and raise some cash from him. Rafa is all about team play, Cisse is all about cisse and he has not got the technique to be a top class team player.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

That, sir, is ****ing bollocks. For a start, I don't have a clue how you came to that conclusion, but also how you could compare him to the strikers you mentioned. In fact, Cisse is singularly worse than any of those players, which is why nobody will pay anything over £5m for him.

At the end of the day, if he was that good he'd either still be here or plying his trade on another team's books. We need quality in the side and, as has already been mentioned, Cisse has a **** first touch, poor finishing, can't cross, has awful pitch awareness and as one-dimensional as they come. He could possibly do a job for Bolton, or Man City, but Liverpool needs players with class, which Cisse has absolutely none of.

Crouch got 18 in 30 starts.

                    Cisse is ****e.

Not a fan of his then?

Can't argue with that though, I used to hate seeing his name on the teamsheet. Always felt that the team would be playing like there were 10 men on it whilst he was on.
