Yes I know and i've just told him too. I think we need to put an end to ot because not everybody is going to be totally happy regardless are they? He's come on and admitted what he said could have been worded better and I agree, it could, but he has his opinions which he is entitled to. there is no need now for people to carry on at him.

On the other hand, an emotive issue is certain to get an emotive response, and you have to try to understand why the emotion gets involved. We're not all robots, we are all emotional beings who react to the things around us.

Spot on. That's a reason why I chose not to post in the heat of the argument yesterday. I can't see any reason for the argument not to continue if people are posting in the same vein, without having to resort on back handed attacks.

I'm not asking you to not voice your opinion mate, I am saying I don't see the point in people going on at Fredo anymore. he has come back on and admitted he was wrong and I think that should be enough for people now.

Yes it is but look back at your own posts. You have carried on the attacks on people who had a go at you. There is no need to do that. I and others have tried to explain to you why those attacks happened to ensure it doesnt happen again.

I hope you take on board what has been said and think about how you present your opinions in the future otherwise at some point soon, we are gonna be here again.

I know full well of the issue and I agree 100% with everything about that. That was never the issue. I haven't spent hours and hours reading on that because it can be depressing. I've read the essence of it and I think that should be enough, IMO.

I've made a mistake and have been rightly abused. What more can I do ?

Well I suppose if you have an opinion about something you aren't going to think you were wrong are you? What I mean is he has admitted he worded it badly and understands why people kicked off. I personally think that should be the end of it now.

Reading the accounts in Hillsborough -th Truth by Phil Scratton was one of the most depressing things I've ever done. But I felt it HAD to be done in order to fully grasp what happened on the day and afterwards. I wasn't there [by the grace of God - It's one of a handful of Semis I've missed since the early 80's] so I felt I should educate myself on probably the most important event in our club's [and British football's] history.
