We then have an option to buy for somewhere in the region of 18Mill.

i think if anyone on here claims to have "inside knowledge" then it's safe to assume they're talking b0llocks. An extremely active internet forum is hardly the best place to abuse any trust you may claim to have with "those in the know" and any priviledged info would be halted immediately.

One thing that is quite interesting though, and there may be nothing in this at all, is WHY there is so little info on the mascherano.....highly suspicious.

Exactly, everyone has heard something different, be it from the echo, the daily mail, skynews, the guardian etc - it all depends on who you want to believe. I'm just suspicious why there is no actual confirmation from anywhere official which can be relied upon. Why might that be?
