Where did the quotation originate from? If the Daily Post are taking it out of context then fair enough, but from his spouting previously I'm suggesting this is unlikely.
All the clown is doing here is underlining his opinion that UEFA has done nothing wrong. i.e. It's all down to drunken bunkers.
COMPLETE AND UTTER BOLLOX!!
If his opinion is shared by Platini and the others at UEFA then these 'new' measures will, in fact, be of no use whatsoever as the political will won't be there.
My bet is on the organisation in Moscow to be as bad, if not worse, than in Athens.
Mark my words, somebody is going to get hurt sooner or later.'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

Platini hails Milan triumph
Monday 25 June, 2007
UEFA chief Michel Platini was impressed by Milan’s triumph in the Champions League Final. “ They allowed Latin football to save face.”
The Rossoneri claimed their seventh win in the competition in May by defeating Liverpool in Athens, also drawing praise for their 3-0 win over Manchester United in the semi-final.
“Milan played the last matches very well, especially against their English opponents,” Platini told La Domenica Sportiva.
“Latin football saved face in the race with the British, who had brought three clubs to the semi-finals,” added the former Juventus hero.
“The Final was not unforgettable, but Milan managed to win with two classic Filippo Inzaghi goals. I had to be neutral, but I know so many Italian players with whom I played or that I faced as my opponents.
“I believe that presenting the award in the stands made the ceremony more human. Those images will be remembered forever, just like Bobby Moore receiving the World Cup in 1966 from Queen Elizabeth.”
Platini then moved on to comment on Napoli and Juventus’ return to Serie A, which he considers an important event.
“I am very glad for those two outfits, they were the most prestigious clubs when I was a footballer.
“We need to protect our football and think about the future and Italy are doing this,” concluded Le Roi.

I don't think so, it'll take more than just Platini's say so to get it put through, and by the time it gets anywhere near to being debated he'll probably have made way for the next tit to take overOriginally posted by Phil Eel View PostPlatini has already said that will happen...so it will.Thomas Hicks Senior

Good then. Arse will be well and truly ****ed when this happens. A majority of their stadium debt is financed on the assumption that they qualify for CL for the next 10 years.Originally posted by Phil Eel View PostPlatini has already said that will happen...so it will.Play Outwar free webbased MMORPG here
