I'm getting a bit fed up of people taking the p*** out of his ability before he's even played for us. I know it's done in fun but it seems a bit unfair.

Of course I agree his fashion sense seems fairly shocking but then that's true for many footballers, one way or another.

I agree but 'we' all moan about not competing with Man U off the pitch (as well as on) so surely players who look like Torres, Lucas and (if you're Kaip) Voronin are better for marketing than the likes of Bellamy, Fowler or Dudek?
