Enjoyed that. Good day out and a good game. Full marks to Idrizaj who took his goals well, while Pennant was electric down that right flank in the first half. Is it just me or does Jay Spearing remind anyone else of Danny Murphy? The lad is just like him when he plays in centre mid, which is easily his best position.

Just read kurt's post and although I didn't see anything bad I heard some of the morons singing the Shipman songs etc. In my experience it's worse in games like this (the worst I've heard it was the youth cup final at Old Trafford). It's mainly idiotic young fans who don't get to see many games and get overexcited and do stupid things.

Just my experiences, as someone who goes to every home game and a few away I don't see/hear bad stuff often.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Took the shine off the day for me. Other than that it was a good day and great to have footy back.

Spot on, mate. They were all between the ages of 17 - 21. Some may have been younger. They do give us a bad name though.

We had to come back from Wrexham to Chester so that we could connect back to Liverpool. When we arrived in Chester they had the police dogs out and all that ****e.

Not a great experience and all because those knobheads don't know how to act.

I think I might go for that e-season ticket if I get fast enough broadband.

I really want to be able to download whole matches though.

probly not worth your while then mate, you'll only get the crewe match live, and maybe the odd youth cup match next year that'll be it all the rest will be highlights. If you've got sky hopefully this LFC channel that's coming out will be good.

IS there anywhere we can see the goals without e-season
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Good Hat-Trick! Pennant looks on form aswell

Must say was a decent performance that, even the kids in the second half, given that the two wrexham goals came from errors, I think the kids held their own pretty well, not much of an attacking threat, but considering they were up against a team of men they did well.

As for Pennant, I know he practically had a free run for the first half but he was damn impressive,he wouldn't need to score too many goals if he could set them up like that, I think he's going to make a name for himself proper next season.

Idrizaj was excellent as well particularly his second goal, although I do get the impression he'll be a one game wonder, I hope to the contrary of course.
