If rumour is to be believed, you can also blame Souness for turning down Schmiechel, Keane and Cantona before they went to United (Cantona to Leeds)

dunno about those mate but if he thought the likes of paul stewart, julian dicks and kozma were good players then his judgement was highly questionable

Word was that he turned down Keane from Forest because he wanted to buy Dean Saunders

That was my first time at an LFC v Scum game........what a game it was, at 3nil down I was predicting Souness would be sacked but we somehow managed to get a draw. Night was topped of by meeting most of the players in town at a couple of bars!!!!

Phil Babb was great, his misfortunate posting has given me a laugh everytime i have seen it

                  Ruddock
                  Stewart
                  Piechnick

Not for Diouf, Kvarme, Babb, Carter, Speedie. Not really Tanner either as he was a youth player.
tanner wasnt a youth player I think Souness did buy him from Bristol Rovers. He went in to see his manager and thought he was to be told that he was going to torquay as they had been sniffing around him. His boss told him it wasnt torquay it was liverpool!! Should have bloody stuck to torquay

I always thought he could have done alot better with Irwins free kick.
