The goal we conceded today

Okay seeing as nobodys mentioned it yet, what was your take on the goal we conceded today:

Reina cock up?

Defensive cock up?

Jammy Shot?

Skillful shot?

Personaly, I find it hard to blame Reina, he came out to catch the cross because there was limited defensive presence in the area. He then got got caught out, cos he was off his line, and had no real chance of getting back from it. Had he had a defender in the area he might not have had to come as far out for it and might have stopped the resulting shot going in.

That's my take on it anyway, anyone else?

Reina pawed it into his own net. If he catches it or is a yard further forward, it doesnt go in. Goalie error in my book.

1 from Zamora, then 1 from Pepe. 9 times out of 10, Zamora crosses it in nicely and Pepe plucks it out of the air.

Hard to call it a Reina "error", but he did seem to help it in. It was definately a pass not a shot though.

How many fluky goals can 1 team score against us. Yes Reina could of done better but it was clearly a mis-hit cross that cought him out of position.

Not that big a concern.

Like Rafa has said, we are attacking more than last season, so more goals are scored (for and against). Plus we have attacking wingers and full backs which make it easier on the counter attack if they lose the ball.

He certainly seemed to help it in, but I think it's a bit harsh to label that an error at that angle and speed.

But he shouldnt have allowed the angle for that tho. He should cover the near post. The fact he didnt and he pawed it in says its his fault. If you ask him Im sure he'd say it was his fault.

He clearly mi**** the ball. Reina was reading his eyes which were on the middle to make a cross and he was antcipating the movement zamora shanked it. It looked to me that the it was in with or without reina and I think he did well to ge t there considering the mi****. But once he got on it, he should have kept it out.
