    Well he is scottish
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Scots' responses to that.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Not saying it's right, that's just my incling at the minute.
I think one of them will, at least as a squad player. Genuine wide players are rare and as a consequence expensive. They both seem to have talent and Hammill also the application. In Spain they seem to have a much healthier attitude to good prospects being loaned out and maybe developing into a top player after 21 than we do here. I'm hopeful, that one of the two will come through for us. Evven if they occupy more a Fletcher than a Giggs role in the squad.

On a side note do people think the right decision was made for him to go to Saints rather than Celtic? I can see either as being a very good move for him. I think the Championship would do more for him in terms of physicality but it would have been good to see him in the CL.

A season of english football will do him a world of good. With any luck he can be at least a squad player in a couple of years, would add something a bit different in any case.

I believe the Championship is a more competitive league than the Scottish Premier League and would be better for his development.

Without getting into a whole new debate, I genuinely think that, if the Old Firm played in England, Celtic would finish around the lower regions of the English Premiership and Rangers would be relegated and struggle to get out of the Championship.

However - just to appease the Sweaties and Oirish Bhoys - once they'd started getting the increased TV revenue both teams would improve and Celtic would be competing for a CL place after a few seasons...

Playing the old firm 4times a season + the odd cup game ain't that good for development. And if he was indeed going to go to Celtic, warming the bench ain't wonderful progress either.

Good move for the lad. Get used to the Championship which is a more physical & competitive league than the Scottish Prem.
