Maybe because Fergie thinks that Nani and Anderson is better playersOriginally posted by rushscored4 View PostAnother conspiracy theory?
If they're so good and would have been cheaper at the time, why didn't United go after Queresma or Simao?

Anderson made a fool of himself in the Copa America when he dived right, left and centre but he is a very talented player.
Nani also has huge potential but hasn't delivered that much yet but he is still young and will get better.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Fergie has time to let them adapt and won't need them to deliver this season. He already has Giggs and Scholes.
So he could go for the bigger talents instead of the almost finished or finished product/player.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Does releasing a player as a kid then buying him back for 4 million not count as vastly inflating prices?Originally posted by carrsim View Posti don't understand it. its not like all the clubs got the new tv money and they didn't.
and its hardly like jaglieka is worth 4m so they are as guilty as anyone as raising prices.
nugent was desperate to go to them and for the sake of 2m everton wouldn't spunk the cash. i think 6m is quite steep for a championship player but what quality striker goes for less?
they paid 6m for beattie when we signed morientes and although i'd say morientes failed i do wonder what they'd get for JB now.
although gollum didn't name us specifically there are much more exciting clubs in the middle tier of clubs for players to be interested in- the sad fact for everton (and hilarious for us) is that they are barely a big draw at all these days.
i sense another season of not doing too much and any points taken off us will be celebrated like the infamous 1986 european cup win that never was
Maybe if they weren't a two bit, pisspot club they could afford some decent players.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

They even sent out this with Season Ticket renewel forms.
Dear Sir / Madam
The rush will soon be on for season tickets for next season and because in the past you have shown yourself to be a loyal supporter of the Blues you can reserve yours at a special price.
I am writing to all supporters during the next few days to give you some idea of the operation. I can tell you that the posatge alone will amount to £2.75.
The comfort of the supporters such as yourself is to be given top priority and stand tickets for the season will entitle you to FOUR seats so that you can watch the matches lying down or doze if you so wish.
Please note that these tickets are available for the Main Stand only as the Bullens Road is to become a car park. The Gwaldys Street stand is to be converted into a triple Cinema.
Additionally to deter invasion of the pitch we are converting the track into a moat and for a small extra charge you can sail round the pitch in a blue and white gondola and watch the game from various angles.
Finally we can offer you the super executive suite in the top balcony which has been extensively decorated during the close season and by popular demand the seats now face away from the pitch.
On the field we will be all out to avoid defeat against Liverpool (again) and have taken the following steps to achieve this end.
All regular first team players are being transferred
The team will be chosen from the first twenty supporters to arrive at the ground
'Reid' has been retained but will provided with an electric wheelchair
The Ball will be radio controlled from the directors box
Prices for season tickets are as follows
Open Air gwaldys street, 4 to a table (film as advertised) 50p
Main stand with full reclining seats 80p
Super Exec with seats away from the pitch £350.27
Super Exec with seats facing the pitch £2.50
Gondola seats 70p
Yours
Philip CarterBill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

I don't get it? What does Fergie get from overpaying? Not being smart or acting stupid, honestly don't get what you mean?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Don't really have any bluenose mates (i'm very selective
) but for anyone who has some, what is the general feeling with them, i mean so far:
we've got new billionaire owners
new stadium to be unveiled any day now, in this city and not in partnership with tescos
we've just spunked 20mil on torres
bringing in youth players by the day
bringing in more players than we know what to do with
getting our own tv channel
just to name a few
I mean they must be seriously guttedThomas Hicks Senior

It was spent trying to fix Gollums eyes and to buy Cahill a proper punching bag instead of a corner flag......tramps.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostWhere is their TV money then...?
