He bought James Beattie For £8m!

        I rest my case.

He's just having a whinge because bitter Bill hasn't given him any coin this summer.

                  They're smashed. Love it.

This from a man and club who will end up with roughly 30 million pounds for the sale of one player to Manchester Utd. How can they complain when they will receive that amount of money for Rooney - ****ing bellend.

i don't understand it. its not like all the clubs got the new tv money and they didn't.

and its hardly like jaglieka is worth 4m so they are as guilty as anyone as raising prices.

nugent was desperate to go to them and for the sake of 2m everton wouldn't spunk the cash. i think 6m is quite steep for a championship player but what quality striker goes for less?

they paid 6m for beattie when we signed morientes and although i'd say morientes failed i do wonder what they'd get for JB now.

although gollum didn't name us specifically there are much more exciting clubs in the middle tier of clubs for players to be interested in- the sad fact for everton (and hilarious for us) is that they are barely a big draw at all these days.

i sense another season of not doing too much and any points taken off us will be celebrated like the infamous 1986 european cup win that never was

But they're a small club, how they can expect to attract big players?

I can understand players would rather go to Sunderland, Derby, Portsmouth etc.

Moyes you tool, next time give Rafa, Fergie, jose a call and we'll hold off on our signing until you've signed some players. Bitter Tw@t!

                              He has a point.

Quaresma was for example available for £10m a few months ago according to Atletico who had agreed a £10m fee for him in January but Porto backed out of the deal after Man U bought Nani and Anderson for much more and now they want around £18m-£20m for him.

So you can say that Man U knew exatly what they did when they paid over the odds for Nani and Anderson. Fergie isn't stupid, he knew IMO when he signed them that the Simao and Quaresma price would go up as a result of the high transfer fee they paid for Nani and Anderson.

That is IMO why they acted so early and signed them.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                                Another conspiracy theory?

If they're so good and would have been cheaper at the time, why didn't United go after Queresma or Simao?
