The worry I have is a **** start then no 10-15 game winning run that we have relied on under Rafa's tutelage.

Sadly I think Scum are gonna win again, leaving them only 1 behind us which will ****ing kill me.

Hang on a minute. We have the new owners, we now have the money, we have now spent the money. Where are the excuses for not mounting a genuine challenge? If we don't, 4 years in the job without so much as a geunine challenge would have to be the end of Rafa surely?

Players take time to settle dont they? If we have 3/4 new first team players are they not to be given a chance?

I have seen your signature somewhere but I can't remember were
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It could take some of the new lads a bit of time to settle before we see the best of them but the squad is definitely better now than it was 12 months ago.

Once everyone of our new signings is settled and playing well you'll see the best of us.

In fairness it could also take the filths new signing time to settle the same goes for the arse and the chavs so we have as good a chance as anyone.

It would be nice to be in the mix by April and if we are and don't end up winning it we would still have improved and that's all we can ask.

The key for me is a good start. So far under Rafa in the past 3 seasons we start badly and try to play catch up. A better start can bread confidence to carry on winning.
The second major key for me is the away form. First season under Rafa we were awful away from home, 2nd season we did better then we regressed last season. Win more away from home, the title can be a big possibility.

if were not in it with 5 or 10 games to go, i would be really dissapointed.

although another champions league would cheer me up

To be honest I think we'll be very close next year. As long as we get back to winning more trophies I'll be happy. I'm a patient man. I have faith. This isn't FM or CM07.

According to him mate they've had their chance already, Rafa's had the money to spend for at least a month. He's some :whatever:
