The issue it does raise is that many on here would put it down to Rafa's rebuilding. Yet, few could debate that both Arsenal and United have undergone significant rebuilding in the same period, Mourinho came in as a new manager albeit he may as well have played LMA. I just think people make too many exscuses for Rafa. Come the end of the season it will be much harder to protect the over-hyped Spaniard.
you're being intentionally overcritical here. Taggart has been able to buy expensive players throughout his rebuilding process, and he started from a mich higher point as his team where second in the league at least every season for a few years. As for Arsenal, well fourth place [luckily] is deffo no better than Rafa's done, and Wenger has 10 years experience in English football.
Stop putting the man down - everyone will start to think you are either:
                a. a manc
                or
                b. Ged Houllier

I agree that 'overhyped spaniard' was a daft comment.

Well obviously I can't think what I like because you've just slated me for it.
In the same way I've slated reds08 for his utter ****e opinion.
Let me put it this way I have actually tried along with many others on this forum logical and reasonable debate with him but he does not want to listen that's fine then I feel like adopting the attitude of contempt and the disbelief that he actually is a supporter.
However I will accept that any true supporter would not want their club to fail but his comments say different.
I'm willing to accept that we have not done as well as we have hoped but I will not accept that Rafa should be sacked at the end of this year just becasue he recieved proper funding for the first time and has a proper pre season with his new signings for the first time since he arrived. That is utter nonsense and the reason behind my comments.
I am generally a fair man and I'll accept that my comments were a bit OTT but I think you'll find most people will say that reds08 is OTT most of the time and most people on here would have probelm with the ****e he talks.

That's because there's a a core of people on here who AA calls the 'RCDNW' brigade and they wont accept anything remotely un-positive. Wherever there's a 'could go this way or that way' situation, they ALWAYS tip it to go the positive way - eg, all our new players will gel and fit together perfectly, etc.

Anyway the upshot is, i dont think any of us wants to see LFC fail so they can be 'right', i think that's a ludicrous notion.

I am a rafa sceptic, i am allowed to be. People are now defending me that i've had no postal contact with. Have a look at yourself. You are a deluded sad act that can't accept that your opinions are not shared by all. I, for all my scepticism, accept others may want to be more optimistic. Your personal vendetta is sad and vindictive.
**** you I can accept that people have different points of view I just have no time for gob****es who make the sort of ****e comments you do and have done in nearly every thread you've been on.
I don't have a personal vendetta against you rather an intolerance to your ignorance.
By the way I don't need to look at myself you are the only person in a number of years of these forums that I've ever really had a problem with.
In fact and a fair few on here will back me up by saying that I have quite a few friends from these forums.

Fair enough mate I'm if the Rafa needs support clan and the wait and see what happens.
I'm more than prepared to accept we may not win the title this year and we may not close the gap because the players may not gel but I think the reactionary brigade need to be called into question given the level of the job Rafa has had to do with the amount of funding, up until this month, he has had, as well the crap and disruptions he has had more than any other manager since he arrived.
I think people need to be fair not overtly one or the other.

You aren't actually arguing anything. However much you may disagree with me you just say I'm wrong, you can't actually back up with what you say. The discussion is about the league, you defend him with endless tales about the Carling and FA Cup. I don't believe you really can't see any truth in what I say. Sometimes I antagonise, the threads go multiple page, everyone has a say. An Est1892 essential member- Reds08.
