          Couldnt understand the fuss about signing Voronin on a freebie, having seen him play for Leverkusen. It was never (in my opinion) a bad bit of buisness from Rafa.

              I had only seen him about twice for Leverkusen and a few other times for teh Ukraine but I had been tol dthat he wasn't rated very highly on a Leverkusen fansite. This worried me a bit as in the games I had seen he had looked average against 'Boro and only really excelled in one of the others.

                Remember though it's not about how good the player is, it's about how well that they do the job that the team needs (Whelan, Sammy Lee etc etc).

                  To be honest this was in the main a reason for my joining of the fan club. He has done us proud so far

                    The most encouraging thing so far is that after the Crewe game, Rafa said The Crow needed to get behind the opposition defence more. Hey presto, in the next game he get's two goals by getting behind the defence.

                    Let's hope it was by design and not just an accident.
