Japan will batter Australia in the QF(sorry Aussie REDS but yer lads been playing terrible). Kewell will come back knackered as usual.

.... no argument from me mate, if we get by Japan it will be because of a massive slice of luck, Japan have an off night or something even less likely - we step up two gears from the Thailand performance.

Thats in three games though. That plus what we will get from The Crow will win us the league. You know it's true

I managed to catch the Iraq game on the net and Kewell was nowhere to be seen and today I saw the highlites of the game and he scored a nice goal as you mentioned in your post.
I am all for Kewell revival but honestly I have lost faith in his fitness 2 seasons ago and I'd be gob smacked if he played the full season injury free and perform the way we know he can for the Mighty Reds

Kewell looked ok put in 2 decent crosses took his goal well (surprised me with his pace there) tracked back a bit but spent most of his time playing right wing.
On another note that Thai #2 at right back played well.

Kewell has been poor from what ive seen. Failing to go past his man, his first touch has deserted him and looks off the pace. deeeeeeeeadwoooooooood.

Generally when you haven't played for a year, you're usually not in **** hot form.

Kewell has been solid. It would help if there were a few players around him on the same wavelength.

There's more reasons than that solitary post.

I don't like Harry's, "i'll be fit for Australia's next game" attitude. Mickey had it for England and it irritated me then as well.

I can't help but feel we'd have gotten something out of him if he retired from Int. football years ago. Perhaps Carra can have a word.

The Liverpool winger claimed his side's fourth on 90 minutes when he stormed onto a Tim Cahill pass, took the ball into the area and drove a right-foot shot into the back of the net.

It was Kewell's second of the competition and his 10th in 28 caps for the Socceroos.

The result, which was carved out in tropical rain at Thailand's national stadium, sets up a quarter-final showdown with defending champions Japan on Saturday.

                          ---------------

Pity they didn't get knocked out Harry could have joined up with the rest of the team then, as well at least he's gettin a few more competetive games
Are the bookies taking on any odds that Harry will not start the season due to injuries caused during internationals?

I think Coral had it at 1-33.

So now its the national team's fault for his injuries? He got injured in the world cup yes, but please, can u mention another time that he was injured playing for Australia? He has been battered in the press for years over here for not putting his hand up to play enough, but you are saying thats not true?

So its a ""i'll be fit for Australia's next game" attitude now? I thought the line from the "best supporters in the world" was that he only makes himself available for cup finals? Which one is it now, make up your minds...

Rafa rates him and has supported him, otherwise he wouldnt still be here. That should be enough for the "fans". But obviously not...
