i saw some vintage kewell, setanta have been replaying "classic" premier league matches (their idea of classic is different from mine) but i saw him against arsenal at highbury when leeds won 3-2 and he hit that stunning half volley. he looked a completely different player, pace, full of ideas, taking people on...he's never been that player for us, what the **** happened, we signed him a couple months after that arsenal game but he seemed a totally different player

He WAS awesome the first 6 months he played for us. It's all been downhill since then though. Don't forget he got 13 goals for us in 03-04. Most of them came in those first 6 months. If we can get him back to that level. We WILL win the EPL.Originally posted by Ron_Mexico View Post

At last some sense to the thread.
People can criticise Harry all they want but the fact that Harry was poor against Oman and Iraq was more down to the fact we (the aussies) couldnt string 2 passes together, our midfield has been bashed up, and noone was prepared to jog let alone run. Culina and Grella were a joke in these 2 matches, in fact against Oman we resorted to "hoofing" it up to Viduka.
Wouldn't read to much into Harry's form based on these matches. He looks fine and personally am looking forward to his return providing he gets through this tournament unscathed. His pace and dribbling for his goal was excellent, he looks fit, just needs game time, which he is getting and soon he will have his touch back.
