Kippe was a centreback, and only played 2 games...
Kennedy was a left winger, not a right winger.
Diouf was not a horrible player, but a horrible person.
Come on, you can do better than that!--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

I know.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostKippe was a centreback, and only played 2 games
However, Kippe played one of those games, at Anfield in the League Cup, at right back, and it was one of the worst performances I have ever seen. He had to be in the team but I couldn't leave out Tanner or Piechnik.
Same reason for Kennedy on the right. Jimmy Carter was abysmal and I remember him as a left-sided player.
Diouf WAS a horrible player. How many goals did he score for us in his first season? Two? He played the majority of that season up front, scored two on his home debut against Southampton and then barely hit the net again all season. WANK. And he cost about £11m.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Agreed Diouf was / is quite a decent player. It probably didn't help him that GH played him in an unfamiliar position, although there is obviously no getting past his problems with excess phlegm.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostKippe was a centreback, and only played 2 games...

Does Diouf hold the record for a whole season without a goal for a number 9?Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI know.

Well, any team using useless Kozma, the wide midfielder, as a centre back will surely go down in history as the worst...Originally posted by Frodo View PostArphexad

Disagree, he is not as bad as pointed out.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostDiouf WAS a horrible player. How many goals did he score for us in his first season? Two? We remember him as even more of a wankstain than he was due to his excessive spitting, bad attitude and that he was not the striker we needed and still blew 11 mill on at a crucial time for our club. We were supposed to take the final step that summer.
The fact that he was a ****e striker should be blamed more on GH, cause Diouf just wasn't a striker. He was more of a creative forward/winger, and was thus played on the right, sadly he didn't have a cross or a final ball in him.
He does have great ball skills, and he does in fact work hard.
However, 11 millions still makes me cry anyway.

Agreed. He has talent. I still recall him ripping the french to pieces in the opening game of the 02 World Cup. Plus he did work hard on the right when he played there for us and tracked back well. Going forward he was good at beating a man with skill and close control, his crossing was pants, but when he did put in a good one, he was dangerous. I think he once got three assists in a game for his crossing (was it Arsenal in the Carling??) and ripped the Manc fullback to bits in the Carling Cup Final. Just a **** of a person though.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostDisagree, he is not as bad as pointed out.
