Where you there on derby day last season to hear the inbred pricks Heysel chants at the Hillsborough Memorial?

Sorry if this comes across as a rant, but I ****in hate them and the sooner they **** right off the better.

Because they are one of the oldest clubs in football and it will be sad if have to leave thier roots.

I know a **** load of blue noses and as much as you hate them I dont share that hatred. Granted they spout bollocks sometimes but so do we. Oh and we have our share of pricks as well. If they move, I'll take the piss same as everyone else but thats all I'll do. Same as they'd take the piss out of me.

Oh and if they do move, do you think that means they are going to suddenly stop with thier chants?

            like he said.

to be honest i know they've got a lot of bitter pricks supporting them, but i reckon we'd be the same if the boot was on the other foot.

              I like the Rooney comment.

"and Wayne would have stayed and flourished in our amazing state of the art Goodison with like turnstiles and everything and and...and and scored lots of goals and won us the leagues and and the European Cup that was denied us too, cos we won the league and therefore would have been awarded it for being dead dead good la."

I thought it was a very reasoned argument with only the faintest trace of bitterness.

There is a world of difference between an informal enquiry and a formal planning application............ as stated previously the part of Stanley park the bitters enquired about using is the part with all the historic features, ours replaces an out of date sports center and a car park, we also have detailed plans to regenerate the area, and are giving back what we take in the turning of Anfield into a public open space.

I would have preffered it if the writer had gone into more detail about the Kings Dock fiasco........... or maybe he thought he had already made Everton FC look incompetent enough

Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Personally I don't hold much faith with this "inside the city perimeter" bollocks. I would have been quite happy if LFC had moved to Kirkby or Speke as what matters is the fans and the football club not where the stadium is situated.

Obviously I know that North Liverpool needs regeneration more than any other part of Merseyside and the new Anfield will definitely help but I believe it is the responsibility of LCC - not LFC - to deliver that...
As a former resident of Speke I can assure you that that district - unlike Kirkby - is most definitely inside the city perimeter

As a former resident of Garston I can assure you that I know Speke very well... unfortunately!

I think you've got the wrong end of the stick there. At no time was I saying that Speke wasn't in Liverpool just that it would have meant us moving away from Anfield...

Surely we're getting planning right next door to Goodison, or is my concept of Stanley Park all wrong?

The Car park at the bottom, thats where the new ground will be.

                            Ahhhh.

Thanks for that. Gives me a much better idea as to where it'll be. I thought we'd take up more of the Park to be honest.
