On the evidence of what I've seen so far Babel is not a striker, nor is he a left-mid. Think Rafa is going to have a job on moulding him into one or the other. We need to sign a proper wide player, left-sided ideally.

Good 1st half by the REDS, totally dominated. Kuyt could have had 4 goals on his own. The first 2 were vollyes that went over(tough to master) and two saves from James of which was CLASS. Kuyt with a powerful downward header that James saved on the line.
Credit to REINA as well who had nothing to do the whole half but when O'Neil was through 1on1 Reina saved with his leg brilliantly
Kewell & Pennant are playing very well. Alonso& Momo bossing the mid. Babel looks lively. Carra & Agger did not give Nugent & Benjani a sniff.

REDS will win this in the 2nd half hands down.
