Losing on pens doesn't bother me but this game was dreadfully similar to a match we drew 0-0 with them last season at Anfield. I know it is "only" pre-season but we don't look remotely like the sort of side who can kill teams off when we are in charge.
We missed several decent chances today and lacked real quality with the final ball in a number of different positions.
It's too early to start saying Player Y or Player X isn't up to it from the new recruits, but I think we've not spent the money in the right areas.
Chill out, when we have a fully fit first team out thens the time to judge

Yeah, it's not an important game, but we should not be losing to a team as bad as that, who were playing below their usual **** level. Goody, nobody is injured, which is important, but ffs, that was dismal. Doesn't say much about the coming season, but let's have some pride, we can't completely ignore the fact that we lost in front of thousands of our fans.

Hey, never mind i rather lose to Portsmouth today in a worthless pre season competition then say the Champions League final in Moscow!!
Exactly. I'm kind of glad we lost this shootout. Our incredible run of winning shoot outs was going to end somewhere and thankfully it wasn't in a competitve game.

If we had a fully fit first team out then only Torres of the new signings would feature. That's my problem - we've spent half our sizeable transfer budget on squad players when what we need are genuine first-team starters.
Momo was awesome! He seems to have tidied up his passing and has added an attacking dimension to his game.
You have got to be ****ing joking. The guy is a stain on LFC. His attacking dimension involed hitting it over the top to their keeper, and throwing himself on the floor looking for a pen when he's run out of ideas.

How do you know that?
Have you been speaking with Rafa recently??
Lets wait and see what happens in the Premiership before jumping the gun, you will realise when you get older that premature ejaculation isnt a good thing
