The guy is useless, and Rafa needs to dump his ass rather then support it. I don't understand why Rafa is willing to give Kewell his what seems like millionth chance, yet dumps guys like Cisse who out perfoms Kewell on the wing.

These Kewell arguments are crazy. From the time at LFC it is pretty clear that he will never be able to play the way he did at Leeds due in large part to his injuries, however when fit for a decent run of games he has offered very good balance on the left. He has also shown flashes of ability that few other players in the PL have.

He will not be the saviour of our season. He will probably not play more than about 30 games but he may well help to give us balance and cover as we let Babel settle in.

Why anyone would be so against an LFC player who at the very least appears to be a genuine fan of the club is completely beyond me. I do however despair of those who think he will be our best player next season.

FWIW he played almost the entire season before the WC. So that throws your "he's been on holiday for 2 years" out the window.

Cisse was a waste of space here. He was a first division player at best.
Kewell two seasons ago did well for us, his record in his first season was good to, he was injured a lot in 04/05 but he played a major role in beating Olympiakos and I doubt he wanted to go off in the CL final. Last Season he was injured all season with a ridiculous freak injury, but you know he probably faked it.

All I see there for Kewell is excuses.He is very good at that himself.
Bit harsh on Cisse there.Mellor scored in that Olympiakos game too and he plays with PNE now.One example of Kewell in 4years.Says alot really.
