    Most impressionable Debut's for Liverpool

After the impact Ol Dirka made on Saturday in the 25 mins or so he had on the pitch who in your opinions had made the biggest impression of players bought throughout our history on their first appearence at the club.

this is not to say that i'm touting Dirk's performance during his debut as the best i have ever seen, but it was most definately encouraging (especially after his world cup showings)

so how would you rank his first showing against those who went on to become all time legends at this club?

good question. Hard one to call though, as even the ****test players have looked good sometimes on there debuts. I remember nigel clough looking extremely good on his debut. Stan collymore, believe it or not, was awesome on his. Got a really good feeling about dirk dastardly though. (although i did about the other 2 at the time)

            Fowlers was better.
Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

              Forgot about Fowlers.

Five goals wasn't it?! (vs FUlham?)

Good one - hard to think of anyone outside of Collymore (who had a superb debut IMO) Fowler and Owen.
I may be wrong but didnt Diouf have an exceptional debut as well and everyone thought he was the real deal?
Have to say (sheepishly) that the first time I saw Traore i singled him out and said he's going to be a **** hot defender once he gets more experience...
                      How wrong can you be!

at the opposite end os the spectrum. I remember the whole ground being in fits of laughter at sean dundee about 2 minutes after coming on. Hed been banging on about being quicker than michael owen in training. Although I think owen must have been sat down at the time having a ****, cos he was the slowest player I think I will ever see. It was hilarious though, he was ****in awful
