I thought exactly the same thing Markster. In fact, I bet there's a thread on BlueK1pper titled "Come on blues, start voting!"Originally posted by Marky19 View Postfrom icliverpool.co.uk

I'm an OOT (in fact, I'm out of country) so I see scum as the biggest rival to Liverpool - bigger than Everton. Because I ain't from Merseyside (or UK for that matter), all the banter (and hate) between the two sets of supporters does not have an effect on me. I hate United more than anything! Everton ... I don't like it, but I don't hate it either. I don't know ... If I knew an Everton supporter (lets face it, people here never heard about Everton), I would probably hate the club, but since not one Slovenian is an Everton supporter, I'll just leave it at that.
My hate club is like this:
#1 Man United
#2 Chelsea
#3 Arsenal
#4 Portsmouth
#5 Everton
...
PS: Squeeze Barcelona between United and Chelsea and all Italian clubs above United

Living on Merseyside, the annoying thing is that whenever the blue****e do well at anything, they all crawl out from under their stones and walk round in their shirts............. the week before the CL final (2005) for instance.......... there were enough closet evertonians walking round for them to need a bigger stadium than ours.............. then hey ho we win the fookin thing.................and hey presto........they are all back under their stones like the lowlifes they areLawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"
Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"
Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Strangely enough, it's exactly the same here in Ireland but it's mostly scum fans who do it. Although there are quiet a lot of Everton supporters over here too, bless 'em.

I hate the blue ****e with a passion. I cried the day they cheated relegation when they beat Wimbledon. Their isn't a more bitter collection of fans in the whole country...nobody comes close to this shower of ****e. Not only do I hope they get relegated but I would love to see them do a Leeds.Originally posted by Deadlogic View Post**** Everton.
If you can honestly ask this question, then you must be a very distant Liverpool fan.
How can you want that shower of **** to be successful is beyond me. Cast your mind back to previous derbies when they'd happily sing "Murderers", following it up with the wonderful "miming" of people being crushed against fences - oh, and let's not forget that other catchy ditty; "Justice for the 39."
Have a word with yourself eh.
However, I still hate United more.

Am I right or just plain crazy?
I don't hate them Mucky...

What rivalry? They just don't count. They would have to have some modicum of success in order to be our rivals.Originally posted by disco View PostIt's a shame the rivalry has gone the same way as Man U's - hatred rather than friendly banter.
The Scum, much as I hate them, are worthy rivals. They win things. You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

I don't like Everton. Half my family are dirty blues but I don't hate them. And by the way, I've heard our lot giving racist chants and the Munich taunts. Takes all kinds, eh?Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

is that not a crock of balls though, I am pretty sure the bitters have been relegated before. must check online.
Anyways I used to be ambivalent to them until the last champs lge win, this seemed a turning point for the bitters I know. I think that our period of not winning the league had kept some of the real nastiness at bay, as if they could handle the cup wins, but not the MAJOR prizes in football. In the last 2 years I havent yet had a proper dig, but I've been threatened several times and been sent some truly horrible hate mail on non footie forums. One of which was a bedspread with the everton club crest and swastika, the other was some jews being shot in the head when we were about to play the israelis in CL.
Now, I cannot stand the f**kers and their players, management etc all really get my goat. People's Club? If the unlikely event of Everton actually winning anything, I would love to see their parade. in 05 after the CL victory there were OOTs there for sure, but there were so many scousers there it was untrue.LFC - the footballing Phoenix. Watch us rise.
