just to balance the negative thoughts i have from time to time about rafa, how about a thread praising specific decisions he's made which have been right, good or excellent and which goes some way to proving that he's a brilliant coach. so here's to the dear leader!

1. making carra into one of the top 2 centre halfs in the prem at least. vision and coaching skill there.

2. getting the absolute maximum from steve finnan.

3. (kiss of death here) have serious non-contact injuries been reduced? is this due to training methods?

4. zonal marking - i'm a convert anyway.

5. crouchinho - i'm a convert anyway.

Number 3 is the major one for me. Harry Kewell apart, we have a stunningly high quality injury record on muscle injuries. The amount of time and effort that must go into each players training regime really does show itself.
