he has had his moments of good play, but they are combined with many moments of madness. I think he does need a loan move out and play within an organised unit.As has been said earlier he has had the misfortune of playing with Sami and Dudek, who did not have the best of seasons.

Still not convinced he will make it be he has been truely outstanding in the reserves so there is no reason why he can't take that form with him into the first team set up.

Our defence as a unit behind Hyypia is very different to when Carra is bossing it!!!!!!!!!!

Paletta is a top man in the reserves, so lets judge him once he gets a FAIR chance in the first team.

Who would have trusted Carra as a CB when he was 21??

Not many CBs are as mature as Agger at a young age, give Paletta a season on loan and then judge him, not now

Please tell me you didn't base that on what wikipedia has to say.

he impressed today, im sure he has a bright future ahead and looks to be a decent coup by rafa.

Leto impressed me today and I think he and Kewell will be a fighting for a place in the first team this season. Leto probably has quite a good chance to have a decent run in the first team, especially as Kewell is shockingly injury prone.

As for Paletta - he is still young! Give him time and judge him after a few seasons. I believe no one would trust Carra when he was 21!
