Gotta admire his determination to get Pool side. Fergiescum's attitude of "not selling to a rival" is so pathetic it's a joke. Would I see Gerrard to ManUre? Would I heck - but would I sell Riise if they matched a buy out amount that had already been agreed (and by so doing implying that that player is not irreplaceable)? Yes. Fair play Heinze for sticking to what he wants. If it's all a ploy to pi$$ Ferguson off even better!!!

I am absolutely certain that Heinze will take Riise's place if he joins us. Certain.Originally posted by Nic83 View PostWhat's the latest? good signing but would he **** take Riies's place. Rotation. In for some games that we need a better 'defensive' lefty in the team, like away to Spurs or some of the biggies.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I really don't think fergie is worried about him joining us, he just despises us like we do him, and so wants to make it as hard as possible.
He'll hardly be lying awake at night worrying about Heinze being our 'missing' link.
I admire Heinze for his stance but it hardly makes him a legend ffs.
Lets look at the facts, he had a great first season, suffered serious injury and has looked second rate since, hence he'll be leaving them. They rarely if ever let players go that they go on to regret.
Its a little embarrasing how some on here are cumming themselves over the lad.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I bet they regret letting Ruud Van Nistlerooy go.
I agree he is in no way a legend, hes still a scum player!
I also agree hes not a certain starter, and would probably start in away games where we were looking for a clean sheet.
Its such a strange signing, Ive never quite been able to work out the logic behind it. Either on our end, or even Heinze's. Unless Rafa has guaranteed him a starting berth, which he rarely does, then I cant see why hes so desperate to make such a volatile move.
