I doubt he would for footballing reasons, but who knows, he might have trouble settling in. Having a mate nearby certainly helps

The only thing this saga demonstrates is Slur Alex's undimished hatred of Liverpool FC. I can't imagine there would any such problem if Heinze wanted to sign for Chavski.

In recent years Man Utd and Chelsea have done business over Juan Sebastian Veron and Jon Obi Mikel. I don't remember Ferguson going even more purple over those two. Kenyon also tried to 'tap up' Rio Ferdinand not too long ago...
