Torres looked very impressive seen as though it was his first performace in the league and away from home.

I thought we were alright but as last year were a bit wasteful, but im sure that will be sorted once the players get a few games under their belts.

Give it a little time mate. Improvements are there for all to see. We went after them today and we prospered as a result. How many times have you seen the Scum or Chelski do what we did today in recent seasons.
It looked like we had dropped 2 points but we didn't settle for that we pushed on immediately.
I think we'll see a lot more of that this year.

I really hope so.but that was edge of the seat stuff against a mediocre team.the top 7 will batter them,imho.

I don't think so mate they are not that bad they have some good players that will give most teams trouble.

I see your point,manu sneaked through games a few times last yr,we need to convert more chances,1-0 up with 7 mins to go is always gonna mean heart stopping minutes till the final whistle.

We played them in the Eufa Cup a few seasons ago,i wore both jersys,one arm in each jersy leaving my beerbelly sticking out between them.

1st game excellent for me.

Torres looked great all bar the finish. If he keeps his confidence he'll be our Henry.
A MON team is always difficult and we control most of it.
OK we missed chances but they were all chances that the likes of Stevie G n co would normally convert.
Defence was solid.

That game last year which bar 1 or 2 would of been the same line up - we wouldn't of come back from the penalty IMO -
this too me shows the like of Stevie G believes we have the team to get no19
