    Finnan
    Carra
    Agger
    Arbeloa
    Pennant
    Mascherano
    Gerrard
    Babel
    Crouch
    Torres

    Subs:

I'd agree mate, would be good to put the tie to bed in one game!
    Justice for the 96

I think the emphasis should be on keeping a clean sheet.

We could go at them all guns blazing and lose or pick up some crucial injuries.
I'd play a less than full strength team:

      Reina
      Arbeloa
      Insua
      Hyppia
      Agger
      Pennant
      Levia
      Momo
      Leto
      Crouch
      Crow

Never understood that 'clean sheet' malarky away from home. I say go for goals and end the tie. Keep a clean sheet at home - given the away goals rule.

And your strikeforce has zero pace. And furthermore, a weak side, one bad loss and we're out of the CL

I would definitely try and finish the tie out there and then we can rotate for the return leg at Anfield.

              ---------Crouch--Torres
              Babel--------Gerrard-------Pennant
              -----------Mascherano
              Riise----Agger-----Carra----Finnnan
              --------------Reina

If that team can't get a decent result at Toulose then we don't deserve to go through.
Leto has plenty of pace as do Pennant and the CROW.

The theory about the "keep a clean sheet" malarky is that the home team will probably attack us as it's their only realistic chance of a result. Then we hit them on the counter attack with THE CROW

I just think it's important not to pick up injuries this early in the season and to save our first team for the league.

will mascherano be fit? If so, I'd stick him in my team, alongside Levia.

I wouldn't have said any of those 3 were particularly pacey

They're not speed merchants a la Cisse and Henry but tell me who, in our squad, is?

Voronin is avergely paced, he isnt what i'd call quick over the ground. As for Pennant and Leto, they're not gonna be part of the strikeforce though, are they?

Whether they attack us or not is irrelevant, every team attacks at some point, and we can deal with it, without ditching the notion of scoring away goals.

We're capable of netting 2 or 3 out there, and if we do, it'll kill the tie.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
