Arebeloa is a better defender and if we had a decent LW, Riise would only make the bench IMO.

Yep, it's getting to the stage when there's gonna be no place for him in our strongest XI anymore. Good squad player though. No point in selling, for me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Riise's delivery is poor and it makes me wonder how does he end up playing left wing when he can't cross, run, shoot or control the ball (remember the first couple of minutes) Babel should start

Good point! If we get at least 7 million, I think it would be a good sale

Riise didn't know what option to take when in decent positions. If we had better players they would play ahead of him.....hope we can sort it out as he's not the best choice for either LW or LB.

He looks like a player with no pressure on his position which is odd considering there are Kewell, Leto, Aurelio and Insua available for that side (granted some of them are untried/untested and unfit). When they've all settled it will be interesting to see how many squads let alone starting eleven's he makes.

It will be good to see Kewell back!

I personally would get rid while we can before the window closes.

Kewell is probably our best natural left winger. When he is match fit and on form, I don't much difference between him and Giggs

                        Once or twice a season?

Except Giggs has pace, scores plenty of goals and has and still does beat his man. Kewell unfortunately has never been consistently good enough at Liverpool to even warrant such a comparison.

Two seasons ago when he was on form and fit he was beating his man and with pace. His deliver was better than Riise and was much more attacking minded. Rafa has said Kewell isn't far from featuring this season.

Sorry I thought you were comparing him to Giggs. Kewell had a purple patch for about half a season, that's in 4 yrs. He's always close to featuring.
