Haven't seen the end of the game any of the celebrations or anything, have no desire to watch it again, and that's that.

You just leave the pub the pub the pub now?
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Rafa displayed an utter lack of cojones in Athens.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

        Based on what exactly?

Crouch should have been on from the start in my book or at least around 60 mins; couldn't stand seeing Kewell take any part in the game - outside of that I was happy enough. As someone said elsewhere if Stevie had taken his chance it would have been v different. Even the first goal - you can legislate for that type of ****e luck - there was only one winner until that went in. Even after it, if Stevie had scored, Mascher would have stayed on i.e. no second Milan goal & you'd have had to fancy us to take it. For whatever reason; possibly the reverse of 2005; it was just not going to be our night - period.
