Today we got the evidence that it's not only in Italy they bribe the refs. it happens in the English league too.

He stood five, six yards from the penalty incident so he can't have missed that Malouda dived.

He let Essen play on with two yellow cards.

I think that is evidence enough.

I wich that they will suspend him but the FA won't have the balls to do that.
Was essein really booked twice? When?

Well, anyone has their opinion, mine is that he was bribed.

It was to many clear cut mistakes and one way only for it not being the case in my opinion.

It would have been different if some of the mistakes had gone our way.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Unbelievable. Not a dubious decision, an outright ridiculous one.

That decision could end up deciding the title race.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

Some ex-Southend player is doing post-match talks here and gave it to Styles badly. Said he's has history with him and shouldn't be officiating a conference game let alone in the top division.

theres so much money and importance attached to premiership football these days to have a ref as incompetent as that is absolutely 100% disgraceful.

The thing is no amount of complaining can now change the fact that he cost us 2 points and a morale raising victory. Words cannot describe my irritation at this match and the ref, if thats what we should call him.

He wasn't bribed, he is just clearly an idiot.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

When he booked Terry and you could see from the replays that he also booked Essien at the same time. He pointed at Essien and showed him a yellow card.

The **** hasn't even got the bollocks to come on and defend himself.

THAT is why referees are so much of a joke in football.

He booked Essien after that, for standing over the free kic, it is as clear as daylight.

I doubt he was bribed. The ref in the CL final, he was bribed...

The twit today just wrecked a game of professional football with his incompetence. Nice one. Hope he's happy with his day's work. :whatever:

If I was as incompetant as he was when I go in to work tomorrow, I'd get the ****in sack.
