For all the people saying he just had a bad day, well if it was just that I would agree with you but that is not the case with Styles. He has been grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons for years now. Hes a ****, you sense he loves all the Drama, he consistently makes highly controversial decisions year in year out. A lot of games boil over, and players know they can influence him.
The differnce between success and failure in the EPL is very fine indeed. Weatther its a title race were each win really matters or a Relegation race were 2 points can mean jobs and millions, these Referees simply have to get it right.
I can overlook the odd tricky call but when something that blatant happens, any sunday lg ref should catch it and card that diving French ****.
Its a big deal, we should not put up with it and its a ****ing huge decision. His complete and utter ineptitude to carry out his role cost us one of the biggest wins of the season. Compare him to I think it was Mark Clatinberg or something like that anyways who looked after the Manc Derby and it was like chalk and cheese, he let the game flow, regularly playing advantage and warning big time charlies to get the **** out of his face or take and early bath ...

Whilst this is clearly an issue which needs to be addressed, don't you think that the sheer volume of petitions doing the rounds at the moment kind of nulifies any impact they are meant to have? I mean, there is an 'e-petition' posted every time someone farts in the wrong direction these days. Nobody is going to take any notice of them.Comment

It said on Radio 1 that he is only dropped for his next match, he shouldn't be allow to ref a game again, let alone a Premiership game.
The FA spokesman said he expected Styles to phone rafa and apologise unreservedly for his mistake....

I said it before - the only good ref is a deaf ref.
I notice the pundits seem to be overlooking Chelsea's tactics to pressurise the referee, the obvious and insidious plan to label Torres a diver, their cynical, negative approach to the match, etc. Styles is weak and inept but Mourinho is baneful..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
