    Yeah but...

    WE WAS ROBBED
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

we were the better side BUT heads went down badly after the penalty. The team still need to finish teams off when the opportunities arise, too many missed chances, Riise does not have the qualities to play in midfielder (or even in defence), Kuyt is NOT going to score us 15+ premiership goals and this is going to be a long term problem, Xabi is still struggling with his form and should be 'rested' in place on Mascherano.
      We come not to play.

But they dont though. We just have a negative mind set towards them more than arsenal or spurs and the like.

I bet there is some Man U fan complaining that us and Arsenal always get lucky breaks.
The ref just had a absolute stinker today. I just thought he would have been man anough to come out after and say he was sorry. Im sure i caught him mouth to arbeloa that he made a mistake after the game.

That's right, however incompetent the ref was, there's no denying the fact that we totally bossed them all over the pitch.

Finnan had Malouda in his pocket, as did Pennant (who I thought was superb) with Cole. Drogba did diddly **** because of Carra and Agger, even Pizarro when he came on didn't really make any attacking difference.

Gerrard and Alonso made a laughing stock of the Chelsea central midfield and
Essien couldn't handle the Arbeloa/ Riise link up play. Arbeloa also did a great job on Wright- Phillips too.

Up front, they didn't have a clue on how to deal with Torres and Kuyts movement and workrate was immense.

Even though we lost 2 points, every team in the premier league will be ****ting themselves at the thought of having to play us- even the scum.

We are going to be challenging this year lads, and who knows, we may just walk away with it.

If we perform week in and week out like we did today we will be serious challengers. We made Chelsea look ordinary today. Only one of the worst ref decisions I've seen cost us the 3 points.

This could go on forever unless i go find stats to prove it(I couldn`t be arsed).I think they do,you think they don`t.
The Ref looked like he wanted a chelsea win/draw with the Peno and bookings of our players.IMHO.

Feeling really positive now after that.

But, and there's a but, I always knew we'd be good at home. Our away form will be telling.

There's no doubt we can match up with any side in Europe and beat them.

It's about going to alehouse sides like Bolton in the winter, taking the game to them and beating them.

Today and last week gave me belief we can do it.

As did Torres' goal, Gerrard playing in the middle and Rafa admitting that's where he'll play most weeks, plus we didn't givea sniff to the most expensive side ever assembled.

Also Rafa bringing on Crouch and Babel while leaving Kuyt and Torres on showed a real signal of intent. We mean business. I like it.

We won't stop fuming about this for a while. However, you spend all the money in the world and you still need a dodgy, dodgy ref to save you? It doesn't say much for the Chavs.

Their one threat today - and it's still a good one - was Drogba. They continued to launch it up to him and he tried to batter his way through - until about halfway through the second half when he seemed to lose heart, annoyed that he was only getting half the freekicks he was diving for. That was about it though. They'll still slog their way past most sides, but we're better than them now. Most definitely.

We look quietly threatening. Solid. It would no longer be a surprise if we were right in there come the end of the season.

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
