Rush and Keegan were the focal points of those sides, they were the main goalscoring threats BUT they also had hard working players upfront alongside them that gave them chances and who in turn probably contributed circa 10-15 goals a season themselves
It would probably be fairer to compare Torres to those two strikers hes clearly the focal point of our attacking play
Kuyt in terms of goalscoring should probably be compared to the Toshacks, St Johns, Dalglish's
I suppose what I'm saying is that forward partnerships rarely have 2 players who are equally matched in terms of scoring ratios. One does the donkey work whilst the other puts away the chances
