We need hard working ****ers in the squad ffs...

Did nobody see the passion on the lads face when there was about 8 minutes to go, proudly glaring at the crowd trying to encourage them even more.

He works his bollocks off and he gets slated in pathetic threads like this one has turned out to be, seems nobody can air their views on a public forum nowadays.

He doesn't score many goals no, but there is far more to his game than that. Anybody thought that it could be Rafa instructing him to play deeper, which would usually drag a defender with him thus giving Torres/Crouchy/Crow a tad more space?

We're going to play **** knows how many games this season, on many fronts, so it's a good thing we have a few strikers to pick n mix. Like Rafa said, the season lasts till May, we still want our lads running around fresh as daisys dont we?

Id agree with you, he has everything but the goals, i would like to see voronin given a go.

I couldn't give a **** if he never scored again if Liverpool won the league. He is a hard ******* with the heart of an ox.

          Well done Kuyt lad!

hahahahah you've only been here 11 days. If you don't like then you know where to go. If you read Scousertommy's reply he is actually talking about you and your type of ignorant comments about Kuyt.

I think that we'll see the best of Kuyt this season. The lad's quality!!

Give the Crow or Crouchy a go up there alongside Torres, maybe even Babel if Rafa fancies playing him up there.
He's started nearly every game since he's joined us, now it's his turn to sit it out for a while until he rediscovers his goalscoring touch.

                Reece, get off my wife.:whatever:

Yeah, it's time someone else was given a chance with Torres. Voronin or Crouch should start the next game with him. I think Kuyt will be on the way out in the summer to be honest, unless he can learn how to put the ball in the back of the net, which I don't see happening.

Kuyt has started 39 out of 59 games for Liverpool and 29 out of 40 League games. Hardly nearly every game.

                      I like Kuyt.
He has his weaknesses, but he is a genuine footballer.
We could do better, but I prefer him to the other potential strike partners to Torres.

That's probably more than any other striker we have.
He also starts every big game for us, and fails to do it in the majority of them.

Yeah, I know, he works hard though...

For what its worth in the long term I can see Babel playing upfront with Torres, and Leto or a.n.other playing left wing.

If Kuyt was missing many clear cut chances I'd have a problem with him

In the 2 games hes played V Villa & Chelsea hes had nothing like a clear cut chance

People often say forwards should be judged on goals for me its not that fundamental, if it was then we probably wouldnt have considered Dalglish to be such a good player

Some people have just had doubts for a while which is fair enough, game of opinions etc, but others are just being stupid reactionary twunts.

The problem is that he's not getting into positions to have clear cut chances. He's a forward that has hardly had a shot on target despite being first choice. He needs to at least get some shots in, and stop playing in midfield.

I can't believe you're comparing Kuyt's play to Kenny's they are not similar players. There is a gulf in class between the two.

Kuyt needs to step it up a bit to be considered the first choice striker that he currently is and Voronin or Crouch should be given the chance in the big games ahead of him, until either he, or they, prove otherwise.
