Slightly 'conspiracy theory' from Rafa, but it plants a seed in the FA's head and perhaps means a few decisions might start going our way.

Yep, the louder you complain about something the more likely the next decision goes in your favour. The 'siege mentality' thing is right, too, I suspect. It's worked for Chelsea and the Scumbags, so why not us?

Sorry guys, but people who are going on about comments like this being embarrassing and cringeworthy are naive and not living in the real world.

Man Utd and Chelsea have often bullied the authorities into getting their own way using similar tactics to what Rafa is using now. Sometimes comments like these are the only way you can protect the club's interest.

Rafa is clearly using this to foster team unity and create that seige mentality which all successful teams have. I see this working for us.

I thought a lot of it was a bit embarrasing initially but he does raise a few good points; the actual Tevez transfer went through in a fraction of the time that Machers did.

Surely there should not have been any reference to us in the hearing, derogatory or not, other than to say that we had made a bid that matched the asking price and it was rejected. They really were clutching at straws bringing up some bull**** about Crystal Palace. The only problem is, it seems to have worked for them.

Maybe I don't care enough any more.

Actually, I'm in full agreement with you Neil. Embarrassment is not a word in my dictionary! The act of embarrassemtn means one gives a **** about other people's opinions, most likely ones one doesn't even know. So I don't see it as a problem and I doubt neither does Rafa.

I'm glad Rafa's come out, I think they see him as Mister Nicey Nicey out of the top 4 managers and think they can just let it stand, BUT THIS AGGRESSION WILL NOT STAND!

I correct you: It seems to have worked for them infront of an incompetent Premier League 'panel', I can't wait for the appeal with proper Jurisdiction on the matter.

guess it's just that you wouldn't expect rafa to react that way.
but hey, every other manager sees his team treated in an unfair way.
the early ko thingy does seem a bit strange i agree but it means we're on telly all the time which is good news for an armchair fan like myself

                    why?

he feels hard done by......and after the weekends events, 99% of you on here also felt we were hard done by.

How many years is it since we started a season at home? 4 or 5 isn't it? Chelsea at home just after Roman had bought them was the last one i can remember.........and thats just not right.

The Crystal Palace thing must be nonsense. If Liverpool were to pick a club to buy Heinze on our behalf, why would we pick Palace, a club with no realistic chance being able to afford the player or even entice him to sign for them? That would surely tip Utd off. We would have to use a club who realistically could afford and attract the player so as not to arouse the suspicions of the Scum. Seems to me they have thrown in some quite scandalous accusations there.

As for the decison of the PL, if, as we are led to believe, Heinze has written evidence of a promise from Utd that they are allowing him to leave for £6.8m, why are the Premier League accepting the point that it was always clear that Utd's willingness to sell at that price was dependent on it being a foreign club, when this caveat was introduced orally and thus can not be substantiated?

imo he's getting an us against them attitude going at the club
aside from the fact that a lot of his points are factual.

Rafa has every right to complain, and so he should too!
After fergiescum did a simmilar rant, their 12 o'clock kick offs dissappeared.
maureen had a meeting with styles to complain that chelski didn't get enough penalties out of him, and look what happened there.
And do you think manure would have failed to get Heinze if it was the other way around?

                            Nice guy's don't finish first I'm afraid.

Rafa is doing the right thing & I think it's a clear testament he believes we're title challenges this time around.

That's a good shout. Hopefully the new panel will show the premier leagues incompetence. At least there is provision for us to sign him if it does go our way.
