I had been thinking about this even before the season started. Who gets to choose which fixtures in total? It's not as if they just chuck a load of balls into a hat and randomly pick opponents.

And that is for me, where objective rationale ends. Someone will be sitting somewhere with a few suits deciding which games will be played at which time, they will have stats and data to show who watches when etc. it'll be some plan of 'cosmic' proportions (and there will so DEFINITELY be some form of bias involved, without a SHADOW of a doubt - they afterall are paying all that money, money = power)

Whats all this "embarrassing" ****. Well said Rafa you're only saying what we all think.

Last year it was nearly Christmas before we had a Saturday 3pm kickoff and we were all on about it.

Look at this weekend. Chelsea home 3pm Saturday, Arsenal home 3pm Saturday Scum home 4pm Sunday. Us?

      Away 12.45 pm Saturday.

      Keep lashing the *******s Rafa.

so what you are saying is perhaps he should go on a forum, become an internet warrior and complain like **** on a forum???? but not go out into the real world and say what he really thinks!!!

I applaud rafa for coming out and telling it how it is, he is saying what us lot have been saying for years.....if you dont think there is a biase towards scum et all and an agenda against LFC fair enough.....but dont come on forums complaining about mis treatment in various issues

its not the liverpool way? bollox, those who shout loudest get there way in this world i am affraid....and i think it will make those inbreds at the fa think twice next time. Rafa aint stupid he came out with this outburst for a reason, He is measured and clever.....he aint no fool
Exactly, at first I thought people actually wanted Rafa to vent his anger on here

Out of curiosity, say he wins the appeal, can the Scum counter-appeal or appeal against the new decision or is that it?

I think he'll have a good chance on appeal as instead of having the usual f#ckwits from the FA / Premier League sitting, the PFA will be one of the 3 on the board and Gordon will undoubtedly be backing the player's rights to play - especially considering if he loses the appeal he doesn't have the opportunity to move elsewhere and his position at Utd is so obviously untenable

That's what I find worrying. The FA may be useless but at least there is a degree of accountability.

However if Sky get to make the decisions with no accountability . . . . . . . . ..but with a £1 million box at Stamford Bridge then that surely can't be right.

Damn straight. Rafa often conducts himself with restrained dignity often in the face of severe provocation and this time he's had gut full! The other Managers of the big clubs whinge and moan all the bloody time. We bitch and moan all the bloody time so why shouldn't he be entitled to let off some steam? And whilst he was at it he should have said something about the first six games last years draw and how unfair that was.

“Furthermore, the hearing finds the letter constitutes an ‘agreement to agree’, and did not create an obligation or binding agreement for the club to transfer the player to any particular club.”

The only evidence that I've heard that the letter "was unambiguous in that it envisages only an international transfer" is that the price was in Euros. If it was something more explicit, then Heinze wouldn't have bothered going to court, surely?
Indeed. I am amazed that the Premier League were so willing to accept verbal evidence to determine the specific intentions of Man Utd when there was written evidence available.

The agreeement to agree point is interesting. I'm assuming they're saying there was no consideration on behalf of Heinze to make this a legally binding contract? If that's their concern then if they wanted to decide it in our favour I am sure they could have found a creative way to dismiss this issue, perhaps by arguing that Heinze has relied on the promise in trying to secure a move to us.

It's odd that all last season people on here we comlpaining that United got away from having early kick offs etc. because of Fergies criticism of the FA and then when Rafa attempts to do the same people claim it is embarrassing. We need to seek every advantage we can both pschological and it terms of getting genuine decisions going our way.

Whilst Rafa is clearly using the debacle of sunday & the Heinze verdict to stoke up a siege mentality its a shame that we have to play this game as its one of the things that we all hate most about Ferguson & Mourinho.

however the unpalatable truth is we will have play every bit as dirty as they do to maximise our title chances.

I feel sorry for Heinze in all this, he really is up **** creek without a paddle now. He may win his appeal but you'd have to think it unlikely. What then, a year in the ressies until he can buy out his contract or a move abroad which he clearly doesn't want.

It's not just about the seige mentality we have seen in the past the the PL and FA both bend to the will of clubs who make the most noise/put them under pressure. I think we have to play the game.

If the authorities were stronger willed then we wouldn't have to rail against them. As it is, while unedifying as it is this sort of tactic has been proven to work.
