I've said before, Benitez is the best manager we've had since, well, decades.

He now has the cash, where before, he made a mediocre team, win the Champions League, on a shoe string budget.

It's no surprise, that with the money, comes a different Rafael Benitez.

I think we should get more points on the board first before we give it the big "I am". Rafa is gonna look very lonely if we come a cropper on games like our next two. Much as I'd love us to challenge etc we aren't actually speaking from a position of strength....yet. We have no experience to call on and only two games gone.

I don't really buy Rafa's rant on this point. He does have some points in his other rants though.

Couldn't agree more. IMO he completely embarrassed Jose last year in this department.
