Sigh.Originally posted by cobain View Postunfortunate for torres. anyway, great half. I'm pleased for momo but I still think Xabi Alonso needs to be dropped for some games.
Whose pass was instrumental in setting up the goal?
Enjoy the game, mate...--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

I've noticed the ball seems to be holding up quite a bit...get the impression they've let the grass grow to stop our passing and are hoping to rely on Chopra's pace for a long ball over the top.
Nonetheless whilst not looking anything special we've coped well and are in front.
Two good saves from their keeper at the start and end of the half....we've need to start putting those sorts of chances away."I'm going to sine your pitty on the runny kine!"

1st half report :
Sunderland are the most physical team in this league id say and will beat a lot of teams at home through there sheer brute force. We met this head on yet still managed to keep our football going in the face of some psychotic sunderland charges.
Was only a matter of time before we got the breakthrough and now weve got it the chances will come even more.
Overall a very good away performance in a stadium that many other teams will struggle in this season.

Carragher and Finnan need to stop hoofing it.
Hopefully we continue on as we were in the last ten minutes of that half, because everything before it was dire IMO.
Need to get Babel some more ball.On the Ning Nang Nong

There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang

And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning!
Trees go Ping!
Nong Ning Nang!
The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,

I'm saying that he needs to be dropped because he is a liability! He looses the ball inside our own half too much and that sure can't be good.Originally posted by tomasjj View PostSigh.

Very impressed with Torres looks made for the PL.
Pennant having a good game even if he did trow in to our 12th man.
Arebola looks so good on the ball.
Very happy a hard working sunderland side in front of thier fans and we're matching them with passion and our quality is starting to showIts times like these we learn to live again FF

Great to see Momo score his first for the goal great strike to boot.
As the half wore on Pennant got better and better, keep it lit lad, you have that Wallace ****ting bricks every time you're on the ball.
Xabi starting to find his range.
Torres and Veronin working hard and looking lively, both unlukcy not to score.
Torres's touch needs to be a bit better though.
Early goal in 2nd half and we'll be cruising."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

if they don't score early, we could score a few more here.
